Vegan recipes for house cleaning

We have selected some tips to prepare vegan cleaning products, environmentally friendly, healthy, effective and very cheap, with ingredients you have at home:

General cleaning – Sodium bicarbonate is bactericidal and a powerful cleansing agent, removing odors, stains, mold and grease. It can be applied directly on the surface or diluted in water. Mixing a few drops of lemon juice with baking, you get a powerful cleaning paste.

vinegar works well because it has a high concentration of acetic acid substance degreases, disinfects, gives brightness and eliminates odors. It is present in most cleaning products. The most suitable for this purpose is the white vinegar, alcohol, being neutral. It can be used directly on the surface to be cleaned or diluted in water.

Insect repellent – boil about 20 cloves of India along with 1 cup of water for about 5 minutes. Let cool and add 1 cup of alcohol. Transfer to a spray bottle. Apply in countertops, cabinets and other places to ward off ants, cockroaches and silverfish.

Spray Carnation repellent
-500 Ml of grain alcohol
-10 G of clove India
-100 Ml of almond oil or other vegetable oil

Put alcohol and cloves in a dark bottle with cap under the light for 4 days. Stir 2 times per day. Strain and add the oil, stirring. Place the container in a repellent spray and apply to exposed skin.

Spray repellent II (great for kids and pets)
-Frasco spray
-sheets witch hazel
essential-oil of peppermint, clove, lavender or lemongrass for small children, and lemon, eucalyptus and tea tree for older children and animals.

Make a 50/50 blend of witch hazel and water and add 15 drops of essential oil of your choice. Spray on arms, legs, back and neck. For dogs and cats outdoors, spray some of it in your legs, tail, and around the collar.

repellent coconut oil (children and adults)
-1/3 Cup of coconut oil
-15 Drops of essential oil of peppermint, lavender, or clove

Mix the two ingredients and spread on the exposed parts of the body.

Oil repellent II
– Essential oil of copaiba, citronella, andiroba, rosemary or cloves
– Vegetable oil

Dilute to 20 drops of essential oil in vegetable oil 3 tablespoons tablespoons (approximately 30 ml) and apply to exposed skin.

Clean windows and walls – Mix one part vinegar with one part warm water and apply on glass or wall with a spray bottle. Scrub with a sponge and wipe with a cloth.

Stain remover for clothes – Mix the same amount of vinegar and water and spray on the stains before putting the garment to wash. The machine is also important to add a cup (tea) of pure white vinegar. Then just wash normally.

Anti mite and anti mold – mix 1/2 cup of rubbing alcohol with 1/2 cup vinegar and 1 teaspoon of baking. Spray upholstery, mattresses, curtains, stuffed animals, etc. Let stand for about 20 minutes and then pass the vacuum cleaner, a soft brush or a dry cloth. Use 1 to week.

Furniture polisher – Mix two cups of vegetable oil or virgin olive oil with the juice of a lemon and apply to furniture with a soft cloth. This solution is also effective to disguise risks in light wood furniture.
